The Cactus Cobras gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 74-27 victory over Mingus. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cactus also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.

Bradey Henige was a one-man wrecking crew for Cactus as he dropped a double-double on 32 points and 19 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josiah Hyslip, who scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Cactus' win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Mingus, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cactus will take on Eastmark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastmark has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 469 points over their last seven matchups. As for Mingus, they will be playing at home against Tempe at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tempe is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
