Volleyball Recap: San Diego Comes Up Short

San Diego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Kearny Komets. The Cavers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Komets earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

While San Diego ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25, 25-23, 25-20.

San Diego's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Kearny, they moved to 7-20 with that victory, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

As of now, neither San Diego nor the Komets have any future games scheduled.
