Volleyball Recap: Gaston Christian Find Success

After losing to High Point Christian Academy the last time they met, Gaston Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cougars 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Gaston Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Gaston Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Gaston Christian will square off against Caldwell Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for High Point Christian Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. David's at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
