After losing to Wellington-Napoleon the last time they met, Lutheran decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Shiloh Gerard paced Lutheran's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gerard got some help from Hailey Cochran and her 28 assists. Cochran was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

When it comes to explaining why Wellington-Napoleon lost, don't look at Izabel Lopez. Despite the final result, she had 21 assists and 12 digs. Lopez is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 21 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Lutheran's record is now 7-15-1. As for Wellington-Napoleon, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15-4.

Lutheran has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Northland Christian on the 27th. Wellington-Napoleon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
