Basketball Game Preview: Amador Buffaloes vs. Argonaut Mustangs

Amador hasn't had much luck against Argonaut recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Amador Buffaloes will head out to square off against the Argonaut Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Amador came up short against El Dorado and fell 76-67. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Argonaut earned a 67-55 win over Rosemont on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Argonaut's victory bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Amador, their loss dropped their record down to 8-19.

Amador came up short against Argonaut when the teams last played back in January, falling 78-66. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Argonaut's Mitchell Mcmahan, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 17 boards.
