Softball Recap: West Davidson Has No Trouble Against Salisbury

West Davidson never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Salisbury Hornets with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering the Dragons have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Davidson got a massive performance out of Hannah Rollins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Abigail Leonard, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

West Davidson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Salisbury only posted an OBP of .182.

West Davidson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Salisbury, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

As of now, neither West Davidson nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
