Canistota came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against Hanson, falling 50-12. The Hawks have struggled against the Beavers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Herreid/Selby had just enough and edged out Sully Buttes 22-20 two weeks ago.

Herreid/Selby's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.7 points on average over those games. As for Canistota, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
