Basketball Preview: Racine Park Panthers vs. Kenosha Tremper Trojans

Racine Park is 2-8 against the Trojans since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Racine Park Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Kenosha Tremper Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Racine Park focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Thursday.

Last Thursday, Racine Park suffered a rough 56-31 loss at the hands of the Red Devils. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Racine Park has scored all season.

Despite the loss, Racine Park saw an underclassman step up: Addison Betker scored 12 points along with three steals. Betker hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Kenosha Tremper's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Franklin.

This is the second loss in a row for Racine Park and nudges their season record down to 9-12. As for Kenosha Tremper, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.

Racine Park ended up a good deal behind the Trojans in their previous meeting back in January, losing 62-47. Can Racine Park avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
