Softball Recap: Kenyon-Wanamingo Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kenyon-Wanamingo and Lake City meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Knights came up short against the Tigers, falling 20-10. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Kenyon-Wanamingo's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lake City, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Kenyon-Wanamingo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Bethlehem Academy on the 15th. As for Lake City, they have also already played their next matchup, an 11-1 win against Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander on the 12th.
