Soccer Recap: Lutheran North Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Clawson last Wednesday, Lutheran North came back down to earth. The Mustangs lost 6-0 to the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Lutheran North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 299th, while Detroit Country Day are ranked fifth).

Lutheran North has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-12-1 record this season. As for Detroit Country Day, they pushed their record up to 17-2-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Lutheran North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Detroit Country Day, they will face off against Notre Dame Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Notre Dame Prep's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Detroit Country Day's offense will have their work cut out for them.
