Basketball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last six matchups, Madison finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They were dealt a 56-21 defeat at the hands of the Seymour Owls. The loss continues a trend for the Cubs in their matchups with the Owls: they've now lost six in a row.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Seymour, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Madison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-57 loss against Batesville on the 8th. Seymour has also already played their next contest (against Whiteland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
