Westwood is 8-2 against Holliston since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wolverines will host the Panthers at 4:15 p.m. Westwood's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Holliston's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Westwood fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Dover-Sherborn on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 7-6. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Holliston suffered their closest loss since April 22nd on Monday. They fell just short of Ashland by a score of 6-4. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arav Prajapati was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, Ty Bosselman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Tom Quinn, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Holliston, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Westwood took their victory against Holliston when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 12-5 score. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
