Pittston extended their winning streak  to 15  on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 15-0 in the process. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wyoming Valley West Spartans, sneaking past  7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Patriots have posted  since April 3rd.
Pittston got a great performance from  TJ Johnson as he  tossed six innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. Johnson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Pittston let  Nick Innamorati and  Dom Innamorati run wild. Nick  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  doubles,  and one  run, while  Dom  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Those  three  stolen bases gave  Nick a new career-high.  Chase Montigney was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
As for Wyoming Valley West, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record  this season. Their defeat continues a  trend for the  team, making it seven in a row.
On Wyoming Valley West's side, they got a good showing from  Derek Rukstalis, who   pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Noah Fetko was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pittston will square off against Holy Redeemer at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Patriots have won 18 straight at home dating back to last season, while the Royals won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Wyoming Valley West, they will take on Crestwood at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
