Softball Recap: Corry Takes a Loss

Corry made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fort LeBoeuf, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Beavers fell just short of the Bison by a score of 6-4 on Saturday. The game marked the Beavers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The loss snapped Corry's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record. As for Fort LeBoeuf, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Corry will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cathedral Prep at 4:30 p.m. on May 5. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-1 victory against Warren on the 18th.
