Basketball Recap: Rockwell Christian School Comes Up Short

Rockwell Christian School lost against Woodland Baptist Christian back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockwell Christian School Chargers took a hard 44-30 fall against the Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 517th, while the Eagles are ranked 167th).

Tabitha Airo was her usual excellent self, putting up 32 points and eight rebounds for Woodland Baptist Christian. The matchup was Airo's ninth in a row with at least ten points.

Rockwell Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Woodland Baptist Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Rockwell Christian School will be playing in front of their home fans against Victory Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Victory Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56 points per game this season. As for Woodland Baptist Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Gospel Light Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
