Basketball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lone Tree Lions, falling 77-53. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 61-42 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Highland's record is now 0-7. As for Lone Tree, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland will face off against English Valleys at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Highland is facing English Valleys at the right time seeing as English Valleys is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lone Tree, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lone Tree Lions challenge the Columbus Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
