Softball Recap: Dunkerton Comes Up Short

Dunkerton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-7 to Collins-Maxwell, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to Collins-Maxwell from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

Dunkerton's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Collins-Maxwell, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Dunkerton has already played their next matchup, a 10-1 defeat against Janesville on the 7th. As for Collins-Maxwell, they will square off against Don Bosco at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
