After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Conotton Valley, Frontier was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Beallsville Blue Devils by a score of 14-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). Considering the Cougars have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Frontier got a massive performance out of Grace Arnold, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Arnold a new career-high. Kenzie Livingston was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and three runs.

Frontier always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beallsville only posted an OBP of .211.

Frontier is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Beallsville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Frontier beat the Blue Devils by a score of 14-0 later that day.
