Soccer Game Preview: Noble & Greenough vs. Roxbury Latin

The Noble & Greenough Bulldogs will take on the Roxbury Latin Foxes at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Roxbury Latin will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Noble & Greenough extended their winning streak to seven on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' defense stepped up to hand Groton School a 5-0 shutout. Noble & Greenough's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roxbury Latin). They were the clear victors by a 7-2 margin over Governor's Academy on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for Roxbury Latin in their matchups with Governor's Academy: they've now won six in a row.

Roxbury Latin's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Noble & Greenough, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Noble & Greenough was able to grind out a solid win over Roxbury Latin in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 5-3. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Foxes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
