Volleyball Recap: Shenandoah Takes a Loss

Shenandoah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-14.

Kate Reed was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Shenandoah's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season.

Shenandoah will challenge Hagerstown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Connersville on the 11th.
