Soccer Recap: Burton Gets the Win

Burton's tournament run continued when they took on Fairfax on Monday. The Scorpions had just enough and edged out the Lions 2-1. That's two games straight that Burton have won by just one goal.

Pedro Osuna and Jayz Alfaro scored both of Burton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Burton's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Fairfax, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-2.

Burton didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Maywood Academy on the 25th. As for Fairfax, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-1 defeat against Huntington Park on the 25th.
