Soccer Recap: Basha Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Hamilton

On Wednesday, Basha faced Hamilton in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Basha Bears fell just short of the Hamilton Huskies by a score of 2-1. It was the first time this season that the Bears let down their fans at home.

Their goal came courtesy of Amy Tan, who's now up to six this season.

Basha's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4. As for Hamilton, they pushed their record up to 5-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

As for Hamilton, they will head out on the road to face off against Eastmark at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastmark also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 4.5 goals per game.
