Everett proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Meyersdale Red Raiders 4-3. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now won three in a row.

Everett saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Sherwood, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Everett's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Meyersdale, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-6.

Everett and Meyersdale could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Warriors will square off against Bedford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (374 vs. 58). Meanwhile, Meyersdale (ranked 252nd) will meet Northern Garrett (ranked 16th) at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
