Recap: Plattsburg Tigers vs. South Holt Knights
The Plattsburg Tigers and the South Holt Knights squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Plattsburg Tigers had to settle for second. Plattsburg fell just short of South Holt by a score of 60-58. Plattsburg's defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.
Leading South Holt to victory were Cole Medsker and Kendall Noland. Medsker rushed for 183 yards and four touchdowns, while Noland rushed for 270 yards and five touchdowns. Medsker is absolutely dominating the rushing touchdown category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the field this season.
Plattsburg's loss dropped their record down to 10-1. As for South Holt, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Plattsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Holt is on the road again on Friday and play against Worth County/Northeast Nodaway. Worth County/Northeast Nodaway knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matches -- so hopefully South Holt likes a good challenge.
