Softball Recap: Hackleburg Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

There's no place like home for Hackleburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Belgreen Bulldogs with a sharp 8-1 win on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Brooklyn Butler made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). Butler was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Hackleburg let Bryleigh Butler and Aaliyah Downey run wild. Butler went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Downey went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Braylynn Pope was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
