After only two runs in their last game, Elmore County made sure to put some runs up on the board against Vernon Hills on Wednesday. Elmore County blew past Vernon Hills 16-4. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Addi Stephenson made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since March 1st. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Addy Peaden and Lalah Culpepper did most of the damage at the plate: Peaden went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Culpepper went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
