Recap: Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors vs. Azle Christian Fighting Crusaders
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Azle Christian on Thursday, falling 59-30. Kingdom Prep Academy's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Azle Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brodie Clark, who rushed for 231 yards and a touchdown while picking up 12.8 yards per carry. Clark was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards. Andy Wisniewski was another key contributor, rushing for 75 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.
Kingdom Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Azle Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-3.
Kingdom Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Azle Christian is on the road again on November 18th and play against Nazarene Christian Academy. Nazarene Christian Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
