Baseball Recap: Edgerton Comes Up Short

Edgerton lost against Wayne Trace back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 5-4. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kellen Sanchez was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

Edgerton's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Wayne Trace, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgerton will challenge Holgate at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wayne Trace, they will take on Crestview at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
