Brunswick proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Hudson Explorers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Devils sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Brunswick had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 18-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15-12.

Darrin Delattre was a one-man wrecking crew as he had 14 digs and two aces. What's more, he posted four assists, the most he's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ben Klein, who had ten digs.

Delattre wasn't the only good server: Brunswick was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hudson only served seven aces.

When it comes to explaining why Hudson lost, don't look at Sam Disney. Despite the final result, he had 15 digs and two assists.

Brunswick's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Hudson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
