Basketball Recap: Goffstown Takes a Loss

Goffstown was the 49-18 winner over Winnacunnet when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Goffstown Grizzlies took a 43-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winnacunnet Warriors on Friday. The Grizzlies' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Goffstown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Winnacunnet, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.

Coming up, Goffstown will face off against Exeter at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winnacunnet, they are taking a road trip to challenge Nashua South at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Winnacunnet is facing Nashua South at the right time seeing as Nashua South is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
