Grayson County entered their tilt with Giles on Thursday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They beat the Spartans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-2. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Grayson County's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Giles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Grayson County will square off against George Wythe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Giles will be paying especially close attention to the Blue Devils' game: after the Blue Devils face off against Fort Chiswell, they'll take on Giles again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
