Clear Springs is a perfect 10-0 against Clear Brook since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Clear Springs Chargers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Clear Brook Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Clear Springs' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Clear Brook has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Clear Springs is headed into the matchup having not lost since January 17 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Clear Creek onto the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Clear Brook's offense. They came up short against Brazoswood on Tuesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 563rd, while the Buccaneers are ranked 214th).

Clear Springs' win bumped their record up to 10-4-2. As for Clear Brook, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Clear Springs took their victory against Clear Brook in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 6-0. Will Clear Springs repeat their success, or does Clear Brook have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
