            Volleyball Recap: South Harrison Hawks vs. St. Marys Blue Devils        
        
		
        
        
            South Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They fell  2-0 to the St. Marys Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the  3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.
 Kennedy Southern paced South Harrison's offense, picking up six kills. Southern got some help from  Abby Louk and her 11 assists.  Gabby Davis controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
 St. Marys was led to victory by  Alyssa Winland and  Brenzie Ebert.  Winland  had 12  digs and one  assist, while  Ebert  had five  digs and one  assist. That's the most  digs  Ebert has posted  over her last seven  contests.
South Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for St. Marys, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1.
 Coincidentally, South Harrison and St. Marys will both be playing Doddridge County the next time they take the court. The Hawks will head out to face the Bulldogs at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday, while the Blue Devils will play them later in the day, at 4:00  p.m.
