Volleyball Recap: Andrew Comes Up Short

Andrew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lockport Porters. The Thunderbolts were not able to make up for their loss to the Porters from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Jeremiah Richardson paced Andrew's offense, picking up four kills. Richardson got some help from Aidan Aguayo and his ten assists.

Andrew's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lockport, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Andrew will welcome Sandburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lockport, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Joliet West on the 1st.
