Softball Recap: North Mac Takes a Loss

North Mac managed to slip by Marquette the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. North Mac lost 12-2 to Marquette on Saturday. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

North Mac saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lennox Wiseman, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Wiseman has posted since back in April of 2024.

North Mac's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Marquette, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, North Mac will face off against Sullivan at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marquette, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Newark at 4:30 p.m.
