Football Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 24-14 to the Lanett Panthers.

Kayden Dooley threw for 70 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 85.7% of her passes. Talia Waller was her top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Valley will welcome Loachapoka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lanett will be paying especially close attention to the Rams' match: after the Rams face off against the Indians, they'll take on Lanett again at 6:00 p.m. on October 1.
