Volleyball Recap: Hudson Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nature Coast Tech, Hudson was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Fivay Falcons by a score of 3-1. For the Cobras, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The victory didn't come easy: Fivay scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 25-21.

Victoria Kuehner had an outrageously good game as she had 58 digs. Those 58 digs gave her a new career-high.

The win got Hudson back to even at 1-1. As for Fivay, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Hudson will square off against Angeline Academy of Innovation at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fivay, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
