King's Academy owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Carlmont Scots. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Scots back in March, they had to take a 6-5 defeat.
Carlmont's batters probably weren't too happy with Katia Nesper, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 18 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Nesper has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Hannah Woo was excellent, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Chaeli Yamakoshi, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
