Softball Recap: South Sioux City Comes Up Short

South Sioux City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 9-6 to the Lincoln High Links. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Links this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 back in September.

Paisyn Ross was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Lindsey Loos, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

South Sioux City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-25. As for Lincoln High, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.

South Sioux City has already played their next game, a 15-1 loss against Papillion-LaVista South on the 8th. As for Lincoln High, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-0 defeat against Lincoln Southwest on the 8th.
