The Morse Tigers will take on the Patrick Henry Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Morse not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Kearny 3-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Komets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Morse walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.

Morse's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Miguel Cobian, who had seven blocks and six kills. Cobian is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had six or more in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Frijas, who had seven digs and three aces.
Meanwhile, Patrick Henry made easy work of Madison on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.
The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 28-26, 26-24.
Morse better keep an eye on Sylas Doan. He was instrumental in Patrick Henry's win, getting seven digs and seven aces. Those seven aces gave Doan a new career-high.
Morse's win bumped their record up to 18-15. As for Patrick Henry, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's game: Morse has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.1 aces per game. However, it's not like Patrick Henry struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
