Basketball Game Preview: Harmony Longhorns vs. Boone Braves

The Harmony Longhorns and the Boone Braves will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.

Boone is facing Harmony at the wrong time: Harmony suffered their first home loss of the season on Monday and they're likely out for redemption. They were dealt a 68-26 defeat at the hands of the Hawks. The Longhorns were down 51-21 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Boone didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Mount Dora Christian Academy on Monday, but they still walked away with a 42-37 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Braves' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 70th).

The win got Boone back to even at 4-4. As for Harmony, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-5.

Harmony was taken down by Boone 51-16 when the teams last played back in January. Thankfully for Harmony, Mckenna Murphy (who went 6 of 12 en route to 16 points and six steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
