Soccer Game Preview: Warsaw vs. Carroll

The Warsaw Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Carroll Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Warsaw had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the 15-goal drubbing they dealt Wawasee on Saturday. The Tigers never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. With that win, Warsaw brought their scoring average up to 2.8 goals per game.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Carroll, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over Concord on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for Carroll in their matchups with Concord: they've now won nine in a row.

Carroll's win bumped their record up to 11-2-2. As for Warsaw, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1.

Warsaw skirted past Carroll 2-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
