Basketball Recap: West Union Snaps 11-Game Streak of Wins at Home

West Union entered their game against West Lowndes on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The West Union Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 61-60 to the West Lowndes Panthers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (56), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

West Union's defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-5. As for West Lowndes, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9.

West Union didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-41 win against Vardaman on the 17th. West Lowndes has also already played their next contest (against Smithville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
