Appomattox County extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Glenvar. They had just enough and edged out the Highlanders 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Raiders sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

The team relied heavily on Bailey Hamilton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Karly Jenkins was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Appomattox County pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Glenvar, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.

Coming up, Appomattox County will take on Chatham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 1, the Cavaliers 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Glenvar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
