The San Rafael Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. San Rafael is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
San Rafael's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Wednesday, when they got past Marin Catholic's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Bulldogs blew past the Wildcats 12-3. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Thomara Drummer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 17 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sophia Everett, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Rodriguez, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
San Rafael always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marin Catholic only posted an OBP of .323.
Meanwhile, Archie Williams has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.63 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 12-1 to Marin Catholic. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Peregrine Falcons have suffered since April 1st.
Archie Williams saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Murphy, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
San Rafael pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Archie Williams, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-7 record this season.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. San Rafael has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Archie Williams struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7 strikeouts.
