Softball Recap: Quincy Takes a Loss

Glenwood hit Quincy with a ten-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blue Devils came up short against the Titans, falling 14-1. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Quincy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avary Hlubek, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Quincy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-20. As for Glenwood, the win was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-1.

Quincy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glenwood, they will square off against Mt. Zion at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
