Softball Recap: Ridge Takes a Loss

Ridge was the 10-0 winner over Bound Brook when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devil took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders on Saturday.

Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Bound Brook, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridge will take on Randolph at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bound Brook, they will face off against South River at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Crusaders' favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while the Rams have been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
