Basketball Recap: Decatur Takes a Loss

Decatur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Hackett Hornets 57-24. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in February of 2016.

Decatur's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hackett, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.

Decatur will take on Mountainburg in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hackett, they will be home for the holidays to greet Union Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
