Volleyball Recap: Thunder Ridge Titans vs. Rigby Trojans
Thunder Ridge and Rigby squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Thunder Ridge had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rigby Trojans by a score of 3-2. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Tuesday.
Thunder Ridge took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-19, 25-27, 25-20, 15-13.
Rigby can attribute much of their success to Kylee Aerts, who had 15 digs. Aerts is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last three games she's played.
Thunder Ridge has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season. As for Rigby, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-11.
As of now, neither Thunder Ridge nor Rigby have any future games scheduled.
