Soccer Game Preview: Hempstead vs. Navasota

Hempstead hasn't had much luck against Navasota recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bobcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Rattlers at 6:05 p.m. Hempstead has given up an average of 7.3 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Hempstead's offense. They lost 8-0 to Freeman on Friday.

Meanwhile, Navasota waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Brahmas get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's two games straight that Navasota have won by just one goal.

Navasota's win bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Hempstead, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Hempstead might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Navasota in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
